Bio

I was originally born in New Jersey and moved to Arizona with my family when I was just three years old. I have grown up in the East Valley, primarily in the Chandler/ Gilbert Areas. I have always had a passion for the arts and was able to hone in on my skills in high school. I attended the East Valley Institute of Technology 's Interior Design program where I was introduced to the basic design elements and applied them to the projects given. After graduating from E.V.I.T. and Gilbert High School I began studying at Mesa Community College's Interior Design Program. I learned the history of design, how to hand draft and utilize computer programs for my design work. Thanks to the guidance of my program director, I was recommended to the 2NAU Program where my coursework would be fully transferable and fast track me towards a Bachelor of Science Degree. Luckily, an extended campus was available in Scottsdale and provided a seamless educational experience. I have been given residential and commercial projects to design as well as professional practices courses have helped me to shape my image as a designer and understand how that applies to a workplace. I am considering perusing a Masters Degree in Organizational Leadership through NAU. I feel that there is no limit to expanding your education and it is essential to have experience in a large number of subjects in order to better communicate in a variety of situations.

Finding My Passion
I originally found my interest in interior design through the video game, The Sims, where you can create a space with a variety of tools and nearly endless possibilities of what could be designed and how the space could be furnished. I was excited to learn that I could do the same approach in real life by becoming a designer.
